Why fight the current, when you can go with the flow?

Life is full of ups and downs. We start our days full of great expectations and promises, but they can easily fill with disappointments. Today I feel like giving you my version of yogic wisdom that works for me: Yoga is about change. Yoga can lead to transformation. During a yoga practice; we are moulding and sculpting our physical bodies so that our bodies become strong and resilient, yet pliable and flexible; our hearts become more receptive, open and emotionally we free ourselves from our old habits; our mind tires from all the chatter. We might learn to go with the flow of life, rather than fighting it. Life will always throw things at us; the key is that we find ways to cope with that. I’m hoping that this might inspire you to lay out your mat and begin your practice.

From movement to stillness, as Rumi beautifully put it "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about."
